Band is offered to students at Wellstone Elementary in grades
5-6. Students may use their own instrument or one of the limited
number that the school has. These instruments are given to the
first students that turn in their sign-up sheet (there are a few minor exceptions).
Students are given one 25 minute lesson each week with 1-3 other
students and a rehearsal with the full band for 50 minutes each week.
The band program at Wellstone uses a unique curriculum written by Mr. Kunkel, called Sound and Sight.
