 | | Ms. O'Boyle in 3rd Grade | Welcome to 3rd grade. This is my fifth year teaching at Wellstone. I substitute taught in Saint Paul for a couple years prior to coming to Wellstone.
I was born in St. Paul, Minnesota and I have 3 sisters. I went to college and received my teaching degree from Univesity of Minnesota Duluth. I went to Hamline University and earned a Certificate in Urban Teaching. I am currently attending the College of St. Katherine's and recently completed a Master of Education-Curriculum and Instruction.
I've mostly lived in the Twin Cities and currently in St. Paul-Highland Park area. I've traveled to many places; Mexico, | | Ms. O'Boyle now | Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Costa Rica, Canada and around the United States. I lived in the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska for 3 months during the summer where I took advantage of all the adventures Alaska had to offer (white water rafting, went to see the polar bears and grizzly bears, tours in the ocean, and deep sea fishing).
Teaching at Wellstone brings a new adventure each day. The kids are excited about learning and bring energy into the classroom. I love being in a downtown school and taking advantage of what the city has to offer. It is an honor to work in a school that bears the name of such a powerful leader-Paul Wellstone.
